Hola, I'm Giancarlo.
I spent a decade playing guitar across three continents — from busking in the streets of Latin America and Europe to the best clubs and bars in Bali and Dubai. Now I help singers, songwriters and performers make the guitar work for their music — so they can hold a song on their own and perform solo with confidence.

My road
I studied the craft — but the stage taught me the rest.
My path started in my hometown, Cusco — playing five-star hotels like the Monasterio and the Libertador, and the same week, packed party hostels full of travelers from everywhere. That contrast taught me early how to read any room, anywhere.
Then I left Peru to find out how far the guitar could take me. I started from the bottom: busking in the streets of Latin America and later Europe, playing for whoever stopped to listen. Those corners taught me more than any lesson could — how to hold attention, how to make a song land, how to keep going when nobody's watching yet.
The streets turned into bars. The bars turned into a residency in Thailand, then five years in Bali playing its best beach clubs, like Ku De Ta. Then Singapore, Bangkok, and finally Dubai.
Everywhere I went, one thing stayed true: the guitar was never about the notes. It was about connecting with people and making them feel something.
How I learned to teach
The coaching came before the guitar.
I've been drawn to teaching my whole life — explaining, breaking things down, helping people get it. In my twenties I spent years as a personal trainer, and later I trained formally as a coach with Precision Nutrition, one of the most respected coaching institutions in the USA — deep work in how people actually learn and change their behavior.
For eight years I also played alongside a bandmate who was a guitar teacher himself. He taught me a huge amount about how to pass playing on to someone else.
So when a friend asked me to teach her daughter guitar, it all came together. Everything I'd learned about coaching, habits and helping people improve applied directly to the instrument. I wasn't a musician who happened to teach — I was a coach who could play.
